Job Title: Iron Worker
Job Description
This role assembles and installs structural metal components by accurately laying out, positioning, aligning, and fitting together fabricated parts for commercial and industrial construction projects. The iron worker operates a variety of tools and equipment, follows safety procedures, and supports the crew by performing both core structural tasks and general site duties as needed.

Work Environment
The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor job sites in commercial and industrial construction settings. You will work around structural steel, heavy equipment, and various power tools such as cut-off saws, Sawzalls, and torches, as well as man lifts and rough terrain forklifts. The role requires regular use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety procedures. Work hours may include overtime and Saturdays to meet project schedules. You will travel to different job locations as needed and may rotate between tasks and trades depending on project demands. The environment is hands-on, physically active, and focused on safe, efficient completion of structural work and general site duties.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
