This role offers an opportunity to showcase your skills as both a legal secretary and paralegal while working closely with a collaborative and supportive team.
What We're Looking For
* Proven Experience : Minimum of 5 years in a paralegal/secretarial role, with consistent work history at prior positions no more than 3-4 jobs in the last 10 years.
* Multi-Attorney Work : Experience working for multiple attorneys at once (no solo practitioners).
* Legal Expertise : Proficient in state and federal court filings, with experience in appellate work highly preferred.
* E-Filing & Billing : Strong e-filing skills and accustomed to billing time accurately.
* Insurance Industry Knowledge : Experience on the plaintiff side of the insurance industry is a bonus.
Key Qualities
* Exceptional ability to juggle responsibilities as both a paralegal and legal secretary, depending on the case.
* Comfortable and effective in a quiet, small-office environment.
* Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work remotely in emergencies (e.g., sick kids, medical needs).
